Oğuz Dinç is a writer from Istanbul who has published five short story collections in Turkish, most recently Breaking Point (2023). He lived in Washington DC for two years, which encouraged him to translate his work into English. His fiction has appeared in Glimmer Train, Typishly, Fiction Southeast, Turnpike, and others. Glimmer Train recognized his writing with a 3rd place and two honorable mentions in short story contests, and he was a finalist in the Bridging the Gap Award at the SLICE 2018 Literary Writers’ Conference in New York. Oğuz believes in the universality of literature and loves jazz.
