Leland Seese began writing poetry after a poem began writing itself in his mind in the middle of the night as he was recovering from cancer surgery. Since then, he has sought assiduously to say something true through poetry. His poems appear in Juked, The MacGuffin, Third Wednesday, and many other journals. He and his wife live in Seattle with a revolving cast of foster, adopted, and bio children.
