J.A. Salimbene is a poet and photographer based in New Jersey. Currently the poetry editor at Tint Journal, a space for ESL writers and artists, he uses his love of language to ponder death, childhood, his masculinity, his body and its place in the world. His work has appeared in Modern Poets Magazine, Cleaver Magazine, The Normal Review, and elsewhere. He is a graduate of Montclair State University, where he majored in English. He earned an honorable mention for the Tom Benediktsson Award for poetry.
